Modifications: Did 10 rows of ribbing at the beginning, extended hat by 2 inches, used Magic Loop.
L does not like things on her head. This is unfortunate because I almost always want to put something on her head, whether it be a hat, a bow, or a hood. So these photoshoots have to be done quickly.
I made this hat (and matching socks) to go along with a pair of pj's that I bought for her. This was back in the day when I thought I'd be dressing her up like a doll. Have I mentioned that she hates to get dressed? I will leave her in an outfit forever until it is too dirty to ignore. She is definitly happiest when she is naked baby.
This hat knit up quickly and looks great. I'm glad I used a self-striping sock yarn. I will probably make this hat again as a baby shower gift, it would look really cute packaged with a pair of matching pj's.
Just keep putting stuff on and you will wear her down.
